Data Center Simplification -Hyperconvergence in a Nutshell

December 27, 2018 / GuidesFor Team

Hyperconvergence is a Data Center Architecture that creates the proverbial single window pane to monitor, manage, and operate both the applications and servers in a data center. To those who haven’t managed a Data Center, there used to be a different set of system/s to handle each part of a data center,  like storage, hardware, security, network, power, climate control, applications, etc…    Large data centers do not mind the structure since specialists handle different parts anyway. Then Virtualization and Cloud Computing became the norm, suddenly instead of co-located servers catering to different clients it became a super system that uses all its resources and shares it among its users, as needed. The article is a basic overview of Hyperconvergence, what it is, what it does, and how it helps modern data centers.
